Welcome! You made it! I’m Zameena, a New Yorker, writer and digital content creator. I’m currently working as a racial and gender justice press strategist and freelance writer. Over the past few years, I’ve done multimedia communications work in the government & political space, specializing in content creation, media relations, social media strategy and digital engagement.

I am passionate about helping people tell their stories: whether it’s advocating for workers’ labor rights, uplifting small businesses on social media, shaping a politician’s communication strategy around their vision for the future, or interviewing experts for stories.

Outside of my 9-to-5, I’m also really passionate about makeup, beauty, curly hair, fashion, mental health, the Latinx identity, and new social media trends.
